Orange Chicken
December 3rd, 2011
Recipe from blogchef.net.
The sauce is great and easy to make (you may want to use a bit less of sugar). I have no deep fryer and therefore did not deep fry the chicken but if you have one it would probably even better.
Bibimbap
November 6th, 2011
Recipe: allrecipes.com/Recipe/dol-sot-bi-bim-bap/detail.aspx
I used a casserole, because I have no stone bowl. However, the rice did not become fried at the bottom. But it could also be that the rice was to wet or I did not used enough oil.The marinade for the beef was really delicous! (Though, I used only about half of the sugar listed in the recipe and I used rump steak instead of rib-eye. Also, I left it in the marinade over night and not just for 2 hours.)

Heavy Fuckin’ Metal
August 23rd, 2011
I never thought that I would go to the Wacken Open Air. However, this year’s lineup got some more bands I liked than usually. It was definitely worth it because the size is not the only reason why Wacken stands out of the masses of festivals.
Using a different login shell with Mac OS X
June 6th, 2011
Did you change the your login shell in the OS X settings and can’t start Terminal.app anymore? Does it tell you something about an invalid shell? Probably you just did not list it in the /etc/shells file.

Werewolves, Free Beer and more
April 3rd, 2011
The last week I spent at the IK2011 in Günne for the second time. I already wrote many things about the spring school in the field of cognitive sciences and artificial intelligence in my article about the last year’s IK. But even if I do not repeat all this, there are some points to mention.
Still Looking for a Christmas Gift for Young Girls?
December 7th, 2010
For quite some time now I have been involved in a cool project: www.always-icecream.com That is an educational and fun website for girls only. They can play a lot of learning games, watch educational videos and communicate with their (real-world) friends. Because it requires a low monthly fee, the whole site is completely ad free! I think, it makes a great Christmas gift for young girls.
Jimmy Eat World at The Warfield, San Francisco
November 10th, 2010
It has already been about a month since I returned from San Francisco. Among a lot of other I things I did there (I hope to upload some photos soon) I visited a concert by Jimmy Eat World in The Warfield Theatre. Although it is already a bit late I would like to write some words about it.
Xpost and QtHeaders Update
August 20th, 2010
Yesterday I released a new Xpost version. But already today I am releasing another one, which also includes one new feature beneath bug fixes. The plugin contains now another small plugin which can be activated in the target blogs. It adds a widget displaying whether a post was crossposted. However this will only work with new posts. Old ones will show up as “not crossposted”.
Moreover, I updated my QtHeaders plugin for Eclipse to the recent Qt version 4.6.3. The plugin is like Xpost hosted at gitorious.org, now.
